Because we've been so embraced by the paranormal romance author community, we've decided that we want to publicly acknowledge the warmth and welcome that we've received, the gift of prose, and the overall fun that various authors have provided. In the spirit of getting to know you, we'll be featuring a new author or authors each couple of months. Featured authors are the authors who've stood out in our reading experience, either by participating in romance community events, by attending signings, or just by being wonderful.
Every Featured Author is someone whose writing we've enjoyed, and whom we recommend whole-heartedly. Consider this our Standing Ovation.

As an author who has inspired us, singularly and collectively, to howl in frustration that the next book isn't out yet, Christina Dodd was a natural choice for our Featured Author of May. The highly entertaining Darkness Chosen books have been club picks in the past, and club members have been heard to state "I'm reading it. We can't choose it as a club pick, beause I'm NOT waiting." We haven't yet come to blows over her books, but it's almost certainly a real possibility if our local bookstore isn't well-enough stocked when Into the Shadow is released. Hopefully Ms. Dodd accepts this possibility as a compliment, and doesn't fear her fans.
With a multi-generational curse or two, true love, shape-changers good and evil, and heroines who know their minds are aren't afraid to expand their horizons to get what they want, the Darkness Chosen books are a true treat for any Paranormal reader.
